I am contacting you about an exciting story involving GreenHabitat, an urban tree-planting organization! During this past year, GreenHabitat has successfully planted trees around Kamloops, BC. Over the past year, GreenHabitat has planted 7000 trees around Kamloops, BC, improving air quality, increasing shade, and creating relax worthy public spaces. GreenHabitats is also working to plant trees to provide shelter and a home for wildlife and to protect species facing extinction. We have partnered with schools and community groups to increase the number of trees planted per year, along with attracting volunteers for Earth Day, offering prizes and free food making this project a community effort.
